While the Nehemiah Team began their caving adventure away from the Ranch, the Timothy Team ran day camp in style with the best “Bad Hair” for Bad Hair Day. Check out their photos and stay tuned for the return of the Nehis on Friday.
Another great day of work crews and Day Camp.
The Timothy Team led the first day of Day camp this week, while the Nehemiah Teams served in work crews doing various things around camp—splitting rocks in half to build a fence (including Mr. Adam, the photographer), making preparations for a new landscaping project, and participating in team building exercises.
Session Four is already almost half way done. The Nehis are learning to lead through service and the Timothy Team is gearing up for day camp. Several logs were split today by the Nehis behind the gym.
The Timothy Team spend the day getting ready for day camp next week. They are getting a crash course in how to be a good counselor. The Nehis continued with work crews and challenge activities today.
The Timothy Team arrived safely back to the ranch this morning. They had a great time on their backpacking trip. The Nehis continued to learn leadership through service today, as they picked up rocks on the ball-field and worked in the kitchen.
This morning one of the Nehi teams cleared the trail from the Overlook to Micah’s Trail. Another team worked in the kitchen, while the last team had Bible study. In the afternoon, they cleared more trails and challenged themselves on the island. The Timothy Team gets back from their backpacking trip tomorrow morning.
The Timothy Team left for their three day backpacking trip to the Buffalo River in Arkansas this morning after breakfast. They should be getting ready for bed under Jim’s Bluff about now. The Nehis were busy this morning clearing trails. In the afternoon, some of them chopped wood while others stretched themselves with challenge activities on the ropes course.
