Session one came to a close this evening with a foot washing and communion for the Timothy team and a time of worship for the Nehemiah Teams. It has been good two weeks for the leadership development teams. They learned leadership through service and discipleship. The past two weeks, the Nehemiah teams concentrated on the concept of being a servant leader and spent a lot of time working around camp and helping in the kitchen. The Timothy Team prepared themselves for being counselors by focusing on the direct impact they can have on people’s lives through Christlike love.

The Nehemiah Teams left this morning to go on the long awaited spelunking trip in the Ozarks. The Timothy Team helped out with day camp and learned through seminars as well. This evening they had a cookout at the Rhett’s (the Summer Camp Coordinator) house.
The leadership development teams continued to learn service while having a great time today. As usual, the Nehemiah teams had work crews in the morning and leadership activitys in the afternoon. They scouered the wall on the island and flew kites. The Timothy Team continued to lead day camp through activities.

The Timothy Team continued to do an awesome job helping out with day camp. It’s hard to believe that session one is already more than half-way over!
