It’s hard to believe that another week of camp is already almost over! It seems like the week just started yesterday. The Sr. campers just got out of testimony service and now have some canteen time until NLR Unplugged. This morning was a busy on the ropes course. Free time was a bit shorter this afternoon, so we had to cram in all our usual activities. This week has been a great week. We learned a lot, made new friends, and had lots of fun.
It’s hard to believe we only have one full day of camp left this week! It has really flown by! We have had a great time this week. We made new friends, participated in fun camp activities, and learned about the life Christ has for us as a Change Agent. Today we continued our activity classes in the morning and spent the afternoon doing arts and crafts, swimming, and playing camp games.

Last night was the overnight for the Sr. campers. They awoke and hiked down to tasty pancakes for breakfast and headed off to activity classes with everyone else. Today was a day of creek hikes! We also had fun in the pool, played lots of dodgeball, and learned about Jesus in our Word time and in chapel.

We awoke to the sound of thunder and rain this morning. Early activity classes were forced to resort to their rain plans, but things cleared up and the rest of the day was sunny! In the afternoon, we went on nature hikes with our cabins, had chapel at the outdoor chapel, and listened to our counselors give their testimonies. Tonight the Sr. campers are sleeping out under the stars!

This morning at the Ranch, we started our activity classes: skeet shooting, mountain biking, tennis, and archery, among others. Morning Camp Party (MCP) was a fun and energetic end to our morning. We played cabin challenge games, swam in the pool, played soccer, played at the waterfront, and hung out at the canteen. Right now chapel is going on where we are learning what God’s plan for our lives as change agents is.

Whew! Today was a busy day here at the Ranch: check-in, swim tests, unpacking, meeting new friends, orientation, the cookout, chapel, talkback, the Combat Team, and MCP Live. Tomorrow should be a day filled with fun camp activities!

Week 2 Check-in
Check in is coming to a close here at the Ranch. Spirits are high. The pool is full of campers proving their ability to swim. Orientation starts in a few minutes. The week is off to a great start!
