It’s Friday evening and camp is coming to a close. We made new friends, had fun in our activity classes and during free time, and learned about what God has for us as change agents. Jr. NLR Unplugged just ended and Sr. NLR Unplugged is about to start. It has been a great week.
Week three is almost over! Only one full day left! This week has really gone by quickly. Today the Sr. and Jr. campers participated in an all camp relay for their cabin challenge games. Tonight in chapel we learned about God’s plan for us as change agents for the world.

The Sr. campers returned from the overnight to a breakfast of pancakes this morning. Riflery was a blast this morning. The afternoon was full of fun at the waterfront, creek hikes, and hanging out at the canteen with friends. This evening in chapel we learned more about the plan Jesus has for us as change agents. Tonight the Sr. campers will end the day with an exciting night game.
Today was a busy day for summer camp! The morning was filled with activity classes such as canoeing, ropes, and mountain man. In the afternoon, we ended free time early and went on nature hikes with our cabins. For dinner the Jrs. roasted hot dogs over a fire at the overlook and the Srs. prepared hobos. Tonight we heard our counselors testimonies after chapel at the outdoor chapel.

Monday was a great day of camp full of lots of firsts. The first day of activity classes, the first MPC of the week, and of course the first chance to go down the Silver Bullet. The evening was full of chapel, cabin talk back, and the night game for seniors.

Week three is off to a great start! After orientation, we had a cookout with burgers, grilled chicken, hot dogs, watermelon, and other tasty foods. This evening we had our first chapel session. The Jr. campers got to watch the Combat Team perform and the Sr. campers ended their day with the craziness and loud excitement of MCP Live. Tomorrow morning we start our activity classes!
